High-Hardness Al2O3 Ceramic Wear Liner Tiles 95 Alumina Precision Ground Plates for Abrasive Industrial Components

Our High-Hardness Al2O3 Ceramic Wear Liner Tiles are formulated from 95% alumina and fired at high temperature to deliver an exceptionally hard, dense microstructure that stands up to the most punishing abrasive environments. Where carbon steel liners and rubber mats fail within weeks, these precision ground plates maintain dimensional stability and a smooth working face that keeps material flowing rather than grinding into the substrate.

Every tile is produced under strict process control, from powder selection and dry pressing through high-temperature sintering and final diamond grinding. The result is a wear protection component with a hardness level second only to diamond among engineering materials, combined with the fracture resistance needed to absorb impact from heavy, sharp-edged bulk materials without spalling or cracking.

Key Features
  • Extreme surface hardness: Vickers hardness of 1500 to 1700 HV provides outstanding resistance to scratching, gouging and three-body abrasion from sand, ore, ash and crushed minerals.
  • Dense sintered body: Near-zero open porosity eliminates pathways for abrasive particles to penetrate and undercut the lining surface.
  • Precision ground faces: CNC diamond grinding holds flatness and thickness tolerances of plus or minus 0.02 mm so tiles assemble into gapless protective arrays.
  • Impact tolerant: Carefully balanced alumina grain structure absorbs point impacts from falling material without catastrophic fracture.
  • Chemical inertness: The fully oxidized alumina surface resists attack from moisture, salts and mild acids commonly found in bulk handling operations.
  • Lightweight protection: At roughly half the density of steel, alumina liners reduce structural load while delivering many times the wear life.
  • Custom configurations: Tiles can be produced in square, rectangular, hexagonal and radiused formats to fit chutes, hoppers, cyclones and pipe bends.

Applications

These wear liner tiles are engineered for abrasive industrial components that face continuous particle erosion: transfer chutes and hoppers in mining and aggregate plants, cyclone liners, screw conveyor troughs, fan blade protection, and lining for pneumatic conveying lines carrying sand, cement and ash.

The combination of high hardness and a precision ground surface also makes the tiles suitable for guide surfaces and wear strips on vibrating feeders and screen decks, where maintaining a true, flat wear face directly improves separation accuracy and extends the service interval of the complete assembly.

Packaging & Quality Assurance

Tiles are separated with soft EVA foam sheets, packed in reinforced export cartons and secured on pallets with corner protectors. Custom wooden crates are available for very large or fragile components.

Every production batch undergoes 100% dimensional inspection and a hardness spot check before release. Quality documentation, material certificates and inspection reports are supplied with each shipment on request.
